Freelance Tech Artist, 2018 - PresentSome notable achievements from my freelancing:
Working at Psyop, where in addition to rigging characters for TV and web spots, I learned cloth simulation and helped sim a variety of fun spots.
Working at Digital Domain in the virtual reality / motion capture department where I contributed to the in-house rigging pipeline by creating new tools and optimizing existing ones. In addition to creating rigging tools, I rigged dozens of characters for motion capture, virtual reality projects, and previs.
Tech Artist + Animator at Logan, 2014 - 2018While at Logan, I rigged and animated for a wide variety of projects. In addition, I created a suite of Maya Pipeline tools used by the studio, such as a scene browser, playblasting tool, scene publisher, alembic exporter, along with many other one-off tools to help with certain projects.
Freelancer at various studios, 2010 - 2014During this time I freelanced at different studios, doing mostly rigging and animation, working on a variety of spots for TV and web.
Tech Artist Intern at Trion Worlds, 2009 - 2010I worked with the Sr. Tech Artist to help rig characters, vehicles, and props. I also used MEL and Python scripting to create simple tools to help with the rigging and skinning process.
